Guatt careers

We already bootstrapped our MVP which is a Layer 1 & LN BTC custodial wallet with a feature to purchase BTC (we will never do fractional reserve bitcoin).

Currently there are few companies in the Central American & Caribbean regions that offer an easy to use, economical and transparent option to purchase Bitcoin. Most of them require extensive KYC with extended timeframes for approval, sketchy or tedious processes dealing with brokers, and high purchase and withdrawal fees (including international SWIFT fees which are expensive and complicated to navigate).

Another problem encountered by Guatt was that currently there are no established ways for users to accept Bitcoin payments in Panamá, as well as most of the Central American & Caribbean regions. There are some players, specially in El Salvador, working towards making BTC payments a common practice in our region; moreover, Guatt is in constant conversation with these players in order to extend our regional reach with Guatt Pay.
