Culture and benefits at Great Learning

Culture overview

Do you revel in dealing with high-level problem statements? Are you the passion-or-inaction kind? Do ownership and accountability give you a kick? Do you take suggestions from smart people and craft your own solutions? If each of these struck a chord within you, you belong at Great Learning! Great Learning exists today because a bunch of accomplished mavericks, with leadership experience in a motley mix of organizations and geographies, decided to do something about an issue they each felt deeply about. Some of us are triathletes, some are published writers, some are national-level gymnasts. Our diversity leads us to argue passionately, pursue excellence and stay invested in each other’s success. We have grown rapidly in the last several months, and we are constantly striving to maintain the same culture we had when we began 6 years ago. For us, it’s not just about the final outcomes, but how those outcomes are achieved. When we interview people, we have scant interest in what they did in the past; we have a LOT of interest in what they LEARNT along the way! We don’t believe in shortcuts, and we don’t believe in micromanagement. What we do believe is that passion must be rewarded with recognition, transparency with trust and excellence with ownership. Every member of the Great Learning team is encouraged to learn new skills and do continuously better in their roles. Apart from all our programs being available to employees, each of us also benefits from the Great Learning Academy, focusing on on-the-job performance enhancement, and the Learn-Life-Long (L3) initiative, focusing on vital rounding skills. Every quarter, we ensure that team members have a catch-up with their managers, and that each team goes out to bond and celebrate their achievements. We continuously get great ideas from within on how we can foster more fun at the workplace.
