Gray Matter Technologies is developing a solution to help parents, trainers and coaches track and visualize blows to the head. This solution consists of three distinct parts. The first of these is a line of patent-pending sports mouthguards designed to collect and transmit real-time impact data that can help trainers, coaches, and parents quantify, visualize and time-stamp head impacts. Impact data collected from sensors embedded inside the mouthguard can be sent wirelessly to the free application loaded onto a user’s mobile device. Inside this mobile application users can view alerts, visualize data and log symptoms post-injury. The third part is our cloud based non-relational database, which is used to compare and analyze impacts between athletes and teams.
