Grapevine is a SAAS platform that healthcare supply chain businesses use to acquire and distribute inventory through collaboration. Story: Our team came together in response to national shortages caused by COVID-19. We are a mixture of childhood friends and university classmates that have been living and working full time together in Los Angeles with a common goal: Get medical products to those in need. Pandemic Relief Supply (PRS)-- our initial company-- distributed $18 million of healthcare supplies to over 100 corporate customers using an internally-developed software with 8 enterprise features to manage orders from our 250 suppliers. We concluded that many healthcare distributors had unnecessarily complex supply chains with little visibility and relied on outdated systems. Solution: Grapevine is our team’s next mission: allowing our suppliers to interface directly with our internal enterprise platform, upload and share their own inventory, and collaborate with others. Opportunity: Rather than target healthcare facilities and compete with the dominant players that are already structured to connect with these buyers, Grapevine targets the $300 billion market of healthcare distributors that have a validated need for a user-driven data network to centralize and optimize their business operations. Product: Grapevine offers operational performance through inventory management and order fulfillment features, collaborative functionality through company profiles and inventory sharing tools, and helps users grow with us through analytics and sales management components. However, unlike other enterprise softwares such as ERPs, CRMs, and Inventory Managers, users on the platform can connect with each other and grow with the platform.
