When we spoke to Dr. Sacks he told us a story of frustration and struggle, where his work (despite it's relevance) was constantly threatened by what seemed like an impossible process for securing the grant funding needed to support his lab.

Dr. Sacks strives everyday to further our understanding of the human heart. His work impacts every human being with a heartbeat.
