Jobs at Global Opportunity (GO)

GO serves two customers: (1) talent looking for global experience and an entrepreneurial edge and (2) key stakeholders in emerging innovation communities with tighter budgets looking for increased access to talent, training, funding, collaboration and resource capacity to scale projects, improve startup culture and SME international growth. Traditional higher education options pluck the best and brightest talent from around the world to train them in stationary, synthetic learning environments for 1 to 4 years. This is counter to how the world works and what the world needs in the 21st Century. Instead, we are building a new model that simultaneously trains and utilizes talent in a hyper real world model: immersive, experiential, peer-to-peer learning on real ventures. Further, it drives tangible SME impact and skill-exchange with a focus on digital, tech, design and innovation. The world is undergoing seismic shifts at every level of society. We must prepare people and leaders to thrive in jobs that haven’t been identified yet, for companies that haven’t been formed yet, using technology that hasn't been invented yet, to solve problems that don’t exist yet. The top ten in-demand jobs in 2013 did not exist in 2004 and the average person will have 10-14 jobs by the age of 38. Current education and HR strategies are trying to figure out how to develop the entrepreneurial thinkers that can lead companies—as big as multinational corporations and as small as a two person tech startup. By recruiting high-potential talent worldwide to form highly creative, multidisciplinary, fast producing cohorts; then plugging them into growing entrepreneurship ecosystems to accelerate multiple projects that promote SME growth; we believe our employment, training and consulting model will develop the globally-savvy talent ready to lead a better global future while stimulating building companies and innovation communities worldwide.
