The Global Entrepreneur In Residence (EIR) Coalition is a nonprofit 501c3 organization expands economic opportunities through launching, supporting, and sustaining programs that promote entrepreneurial efforts by international founders.

Our Global EIR program allows universities to support their entrepreneurial programs and promote local economic development by providing international entrepreneurs with easy access to a long-term work visa. In turn, founders serve as mentors and advisers to the university community's entrepreneurial initiatives.

For founders, it's fast and easy with no crazy hoops to jump through to qualify. For universities, it's a cheap and easy way to promote entrepreneurship and better prepare your students for professional success in the innovation economy. For investors, it's an easy way to eliminate visa risk. For cities and states, it's a cheap and effective program to encourage local and sustained economic growth.
