Our target users are health practitioners that require an easy and intuitive product that safely eliminates tissue infections to quickly close wounds. Our product will enable wound care providers to obtain more effective endogenous wound healing and remodeling, and limit or possibly eliminate antibiotic use without producing bacterial resistance. Through ease of delivery, our product lends itself to use in both inpatient and outpatient clinical settings. Easy in-topical application of our product will reduce the need for time from skilled physicians or surgeons that is required by alternative products. With growing concerns over antibiotic resistance, clinicians, nurses, surgeons, and other care providers have indicated that they need additional tools to combat surgical and chronic wounds.
