Founded in 2000 by California entrepreneur Andy Funk, Funk Ventures has played a significant part in the rise of impact investing in the venture capital sector. Many will say that we were the first firm in the country to have adopted an exclusive focus on socially-responsible venture investing. Over the years, we have clearly demonstrated that venture capital can be an extremely effective platform to affect positive change throughout the world.
