Fretello’s purpose is simple: empowering people to express themselves through music. Founded back in 2016 by Florian Lettner and Wolfgang Damm, Fretello was born out of a love for music as well as continuous learning and improvement. Today, we have our guitar learning app that not only allows our users to learn, practice, and play the guitar, but also provides them with real-time feedback thanks to our AI listening technology. Our app also includes a learn path that users can comfortably work through at their own pace.

Given the nature of our product, it should be no surprise that the golden thread that unites all Fretellians is a love for what we’re doing and our industry of music and EdTech. Our band is made up of 30+ fun, warm-hearted, and passionate individuals from over 15 different nations. Our team collaborates remotely across the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) region to offer the best possible music learning experience to our users. In addition to our core values of agility, curiosity, unity, transparency, and empathy being the defining features of our culture, we also value flexibility, ownership, and aim to foster an appreciative team environment where we support and push each other.
