FORTUS is a unique technology used to harvest a patient’s own mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) at the beginning of a spine surgery operation and then effectively and economically remove the impurities and red blood cells (which impede bone growth) leaving a highly concentrated stem cell solution which is mixed with bone graft material to repair and promote new bone growth in the patient.
