Healthcare sucks for everyone, but it especially sucks for the queer population. At best, care teams use patronizing language; at worst, our community experiences violence and assault at a grossly unacceptable level.

At Folx Health, our goal is to build a digital health services platform that serves Queer Folx to live, love, and be fearlessly ourselves, in any and every way that gives us the greatest consensual happiness and freedom.

Medicine has always claimed the power to define what is "normal" and "healthy". The queer community has always been on the crap end of that deal. We are ripping up the old model of "care" which "defines, diagnoses, and treats" with one that "celebrates, listens, and enables." Our community is claiming for itself the power to define our bodies, our sex, and our families as we see fit.
