Five One Labs is a start-up incubator that helps talented entrepreneurs in conflict-affected areas launch and grow their businesses in the Middle East. We use entrepreneurshipl to empower conflict-affected and displaced individuals to rebuild and thrive. We're currently operating in Erbil and Sulaimani, Iraq. Five One Labs is an adventurous, high-energy, and growing team. We've served over 1,000 aspiring entrepreneurs in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq since launching our operations a year ago, graduating our first cohort of startups last February, and disbursing over $30,000 in seed funding. We are currently partnering with the German Development Agency (GIZ) to create and develop an Innovation Hub in Sulaimani, in which we will have training space for Five One Labs as well as a co-working space for Sulaimani entrepreneurs and businesspeople.
