Fishburners is a not-for-profit whose mission is to help create successful scalable startups. We do this by offering our members a working space and community that is conducive to member success. We currently have 200 startups working in our spaces in Sydney and Brisbane. Every startup in Fishburners is creating a scalable tech startup that has the potential to be ‘the next big thing’ - think Uber or AirBnB. As a not for profit, Fishburners is not your normal coworking space. All our efforts go back into helping our members create sustainable businesses. We understand that entrepreneurs usually need to know something about everything but as an early stage founder, this can feel impossible. We believe no entrepreneur should have to face these challenges alone, so we do all we can to provide the necessary support and tools that would otherwise be impossible to access. The biggest benefit of Fishburners is our huge community of entrepreneurs. Fishburners is famous for it’s community spirit where our members are more than willing to share their knowledge to help another Burner’ out on their own time and with no expectation of anything in return. With 350 talented entrepreneurs under one roof, all with different background and skill, members have a huge network they can leverage. As well as being Australia’s largest startup space, we are also the hub for startup events, with over 500 people coming through our doors each week to attend startup related meetups, workshops, hackathons and all kinds of other startup-related events. The best part is, we're like a startup too and even though we are six years in - things are just getting started.
