Who We're Looking For Our engineering team is lead by a veteran VP of Engineering, and you would work under his mentorship and direction. The engineering culture we are building is fun and engaging, but always with an eye towards disciplined execution. If you love to learn by releasing well-tested features on a tight Agile schedule, Firecracker would be a great place for you to work! We're looking for employees who want to rage against the one-size-fits all factory model of education, but who have the discipline and patience to conquer one market at a time. If you're looking for a VC-backed company bleeding cash and looking for a quick grand-slam home run, we won't be a good fit for you. We're looking for engineers who: Love test-driven, Agile development in a close-knit team Are proficient in Ruby on Rails, Git, MySQL, Bootstrap, JavaScript, RSpec, and Jasmine Know about SQL best practices. (Bonus if you know about NoSQL best practices!)
