Jake Blair – Founder & CEO Jake started his career in the trades, building Heron Stone Masonry from the ground up into a 6-figure revenue business in its first year — without outside funding and purely through word-of-mouth. Over more than 15 years in the field, he mastered the art of delivering high-quality projects on time and on budget, but also spotted a bigger, industry-wide problem: contractors were wasting hours on paperwork, job scoping, and quotes. He knew there had to be a better way. That insight became FieldScribe — a platform that transforms spoken job details into professional, ready-to-send scopes of work. Jake’s vision is to give contractors a tool that feels as natural as talking, while delivering the professional polish needed to win more bids. Our job is to make his job easier.” Fun Fact: Jake can spot a crooked stone wall from 50 yards away — and fix it himself if needed. Outside of work, he’s usually on the water, fishing, Metal Detecting, or testing new tools for the job site.
