FibriCheck is a medical smartphone/smartwatch application that utilizes an advanced cloud infrastructure in combination with state of the art artificial intelligence which is capable of converting consumer technology into medical diagnostic devices. The user just needs to have a wearable capable of detecting the pulse rate or have a smartphone and place his finger for 60 seconds on the camera to obtain a recording of the pulse rhythm. This technology is named photoplethysmography or PPG. Based on a 60 sec reading the AI can detect 10 different heart rhythm disorders. The data and results are completely managed by a medical certified microservice cloud infrastructure to ensure the user and/or the doctors are notified in time and all processes are managed accordingly. currently FibriCheck is used by approximately 100.000 people and is certified as a CE Class IIa product in Europe and is FDA Cleared in the US. We are reimbursed in Belgium and continue to grow on international level.
