Founded in 2018 in San Francisco, CA and now headquartered in Denver, CO, Exer’s proprietary artificial intelligence (AI) technology maps human movement using nothing more than the camera on your mobile device, with no external hardware required. By using PoseNet-based Human Pose Estimation Models (CCNs), twenty four key body points are identified and tracked to evaluate motion characteristics of the human body. Established by three founders with deep domain expertise in start-ups, tech/AI, and fitness/health, Exer is a small, but passionate and mission-driven team backed by world-class advisors and investors from relevant industries.
