EquiReason careers

EquiReason is an entire research department running as software, for anyone who does not have one of their own — thesis-driven investors, independent analysts and small teams. It answers two questions continuously: what is changing in the world and which companies it actually reaches; and, for every covered company, what the verdict is, what evidence supports it and what evidence cuts against it.

It reads primary sources directly — 10-K, 10-Q and 8-K filings, Form 4 insider transactions, 13F institutional holdings and XBRL financial data from SEC EDGAR, alongside earnings transcripts, macroeconomic series, government contract awards and market positioning. Each event is traced through the economic mechanism that carries it, from first-order effect to second- and third-order beneficiaries. Exposure is measured against reported segment, product or geographic revenue when the company discloses it; otherwise the result is explicitly labelled as a proxy and cannot carry the highest evidence tier.

Every conclusion carries its evidence and its provenance. Calls are timestamped when made and measured forward, never backfilled. The data the department works from — normalized financials back to the 1990s, every filing as read, company-specific metrics, fund and insider activity — is open to subscribers who would rather check the numbers than take the view.
