Most non-profits and grass-roots efforts function very differently than businesses, yet very few tools exist to directly support their activities. 99% of new tech startups focus exclusively on the oversaturated fundraising problem, which only addresses one of the dozens of issues faced by public good projects. The few SaaS offerings more specific to their needs are outdated, unintuitive, and overpriced, simply because there is no competition to drive standards. Episodal aims to bring every modern 501(c), the emerging grass-roots effort, and the public volunteer project to its full potential by providing the same level of collaboration, coordination, and automation used to flash-grow venture backed startups. Slack, Mailchimp, and donation software are not enough to empower those groups aiming to affect real social and environmental change. Episodal is a 100% employee-owned organization. We have no investors, public stock, or parent company, and never will. All our revenue is invested back to support the growth and sustainability of the episodal.org platform, its employees and volunteers, and our member organizations.
