Jobs at Emidat
We sat down and defined what we really care about in working together. It is not wrong if you work differently, but to be a good fit for Emidat, this is one of the dimensions we evaluate in our hiring process. 1. LFG (Let’s f*cking go!) - LFG stands for “Let’s fucking go!” - it describes the energy we bring to the table everyday. 2. Environment > Customer > Team > Individual 1. Environment over Customer 2. Customer over Team 3. Team over Individual 3. Beat Yesterday Everyday, we aim to be better than yesterday. There’s no shame in making mistakes, it’s not a problem that when doing something for the first time, it’s not great. What’s important is that the next time it’s better, ideally much better. And don’t do the same mistake twice. We recruit fast learners, people who don’t stop improving every single day and want to become the very best in their field or discipline. This also means setting clear goals and tracking your performance. We strive for constant measurable improvement and learning. 4. Transparency In order to truly own and make good decisions, you need to have as much context as possible. Hence, we strive for full transparency in the decisions we take (shared in Decision Log), in the expectations we set (everyone’s role description) and the strategic direction we set for the company (shared in Roadmap) among others. Everybody can look at our financials, everybody can see what we report to investors. Transparency requires good documentation and communication (see below). 5. Ownership We define clear ownership for tasks and processes. Ownership doesn’t mean you do it all. It means you are ultimately accountable for the outcome. You should pull the input you need and keep an overview on what is needed to achieve the desired outcome. This will enable us to make good decisions and act fast in our exceptionally dynamic environment.
