We are a young startup of economists with background in statistics, data science mgmt consulting and healthcare. We have worked for many years with NHS hospitals and have gotten familiar with their intimate workings and problems they face. We are now using new technologies centred around data science and machine learning to solve some of these issues at a bigger scale than classical consultancies so far could. We are a little bit more client facing and a little bit more corporate than your classical tech startup (we might wear a suit to client meetings!!!! :) ) but in return we have more experience, infrastructure and existing client relations. Any new hire will learn the kinds of skills he or she would have learned as an economist in a mgmt consultancy while using more data and data science approaches and building data products rather than making powerpoint slides.
