Echometrix careers

Echometrix is developing proprietary ultrasound technologies for use in orthopedic, sports medicine, and physical therapy applications.  MRI is currently the only diagnostic tool capable of differentiating between soft tissue tears and strains, but is limited by high cost, lack of portability, reduced availability, and inability to yield information on the functional status of tissues. Our lead product, Echosoft, is an image processing software tool designed to evaluate the functional status of ligaments, tendons, and muscles from images captured using any standard ultrasound equipment. Echosoft enables detection of micro-mechanical defects that may go undetected in other imaging modalities, like MRI.  Therefore, Echosoft can better direct treatment, offer cost savings and speed recovery.
