One of the awesome things about software is that it can have a systemic impact on many markets. EarthToday proves that nature protection is not an exception. We use technology to sustainably increase the global spend on nature protection by consumers and brands alike. Our way of achieving this goal is by employing top-grade, highly scalable technology to provide an amazing experience for our users, our 'Citizens'. Our current stack includes many trendy tech tools (Angular2+, React, Spring Boot Kotlin, GoLang services, Neo4J, PostgreSQL, Kassandra, Redis, Kafka, Nomad, Kubernetes, etc.), but we're very versatile and have the freedom to extend and drop tools when we feel suited. One of the main challenges we face as the product team is adapting to the increasing traction we see in the market. We're soon starting pilots with big brands, which will surely generate a lot of feedback from both the brands themselves and their customers joining EarthToday. A more technical challenge is optimizing the experience for Citizens checking out their square meters. We aim to make it as engaging as possible, inspiring protectors to come back, stay involved or event expand their efforts. We are a group of highly motivated individuals with many years of experience in developing software products, brand loyalty and advertising. Achievements of our team include founding AirMiles, iDEAL and Nu.nl, winning prizes in Advertising and founding more than a combined 20 successful companies. Most importantly, we strongly believe we have the power to take nature protection to the next level.
