EarthToday is on a mission to increase awareness on the state of the planet while simultaneously accelerating its nature protection. Climate scientists have stated that in order to safeguard the bulk of biodiversity, including ourselves, we must protect at least 50% of Earth’s surface before 2050. At EarthToday, these missions combine as the conscious consumer becomes part of an active community while contributing to tangible nature protection.

People protect square meters of land by entering a claim code they received from a brand or donating a small amount of money. On completion, their meter is allocated in one of the areas brought in by our nature protection partners. To really make it tangible, the user can see the exact square meters they protected on a map and read relevant information about the area they are located in. The funds are given to the nature protection organization stewarding the area, which uses them to expand it.
