Cytation AI is the trust layer for the internet — a digital verification platform that lets anyone scan social media posts, news articles, screenshots, or claims and receive a truth score with references, claim breakdown, and final verdict in seconds.

Founded in Montreal in September 2025 and bootstrapped, Cytation operates a vertical suite of five products: Cytation (core verification with truth scoring), Veryfy (AI-generated media detection), ExtraLayer (scans websites before you visit them to flag scams, phishing, and unsafe domains), Synth (AI media literacy training), and The Feed (the first verified-first social content network, where every post receives a real-time truth score before publication — currently in beta).

The Cytation iOS app launched on the App Store in April 2026 and has grown to over 140,000 users, with press coverage in MarketWatch, AP News, Fox News, and syndicated outlets.

Cytation is founder-owned and structurally independent, positioning trust infrastructure as the defining layer for an AI-saturated internet.
