In Tier 2 & Tier 3 cities, there is still a huge aspiration of building ones own home that reflects ones identity instead of going for a stereotypical developer made row house or apartment. With the excessive supply of developer made homes and unaffordable prices, the market for self made homes is all set to get more and more significant in the coming years. However a person, who intends to either build his own house or remodel an existing one, has to go through a lot of trouble in finding the right location (plot of land), house plans, finishing materials, designers & consultants, applicators & contractors etc. He suffers from huge Information asymmetry when it comes to knowledge and understanding about the relevant bye-laws & regulations, optimal cost of materials & manpower. We at Customised homes act as INFORMATION SYMMETRIZERS in the housing domain. The venture is founded by Hitesh Ahuja , an Architect with an MBA from ISB Hyderabad. Hitesh has been an entrepreneur to the core and has worked at the grass root level on all the aspects of housing for the last 14 years. We are small team with a promising product satisfying a very real & significant unserved need. We believe in respecting & recognizing Individual brilliance.
