Jobs at Critica Books

Critica Books is preparing its first issue, scheduled for October 2026, and is building its founding editorial team. We are actively looking for journalists, literary critics, cultural writers, book reviewers, and recent graduates from American journalism schools who want to contribute to a growing literary magazine. We also welcome contributors with expertise in African literature, children's literature, poetry, graphic novels, and academic works, as well as future podcast hosts and producers. We are looking for passionate readers with a sharp eye, strong writing skills, and the curiosity to discover new voices and rediscover forgotten masterpieces. Contributors can work remotely from anywhere in the United States and beyond. Spontaneous applications and collaboration proposals from writers, publishers, and literary organizations are always welcome.
