Jobs at Connected Purpose

Connected Purpose is a Social Enterprise providing resources and collaboration to the For-Purpose sector (Charities, Not-for-profits and Social Enterprises). The core focus of the business is to provide an online job matching marketplace for professionals who are wishing to give back their time and talent and work for-purpose. The social enterprise sector is rapidly growing both within Australia and internationally and the rise of the Millennial generation in the workforce is bringing for-purpose work into the mainstream. Young professionals are highly motivated to accelerate their careers and gain real-world, tangible work experience to help them do so. At the same time, this generation is highly conscious of social issues and has a strong bias towards entrepreneurship. These factors are colliding to fuel demand for flexible, project based work where talent can be harnessed to directly support social growth. Currently within Australia, there is no platform supporting collaboration and connectivity between high performing professionals and organisations seeking talented support. Connections are made purely by word of mouth and talent pools are limited and workplace options inflexible. We want to turn this existing situation on its head and provide innovative means for the For-Purpose sector to grow without maintaining a heavy reliance on grants and fundraising.
