CMS has developed a new technology for separating of olefins from paraffins (eg propylene from propane), a critical step in creating the most common chemical building blocks. CMS technology works as an add-on to existing refinery and petchem plant infrastructure to increases yield, reduce feedstock needs, capture value from waste/purge streams, and reduce costs and energy consumption. Typical applications include polypro reactor purge streams and splitter bottoms, both offering with high ROI and low payback periods.
