The business opportunity Since the publication of the results of our technology, we have been approached by over 70 organisations interested in applying our technology in one way or another, including diagnostic companies, test manufacturing companies, eHealth software providers, and government institutions. There is a clear opportunity to drive this technology to commercial success. As the technology needs to be calibrated for every individual test-strip, we have a unique opportunity to sell applications, cloud-based software and/or integrated measurement technology within other applications.  What’s more; colorimetric tests are often used in low-innovation environments, where we can bring a real edge. Examples we consider are: (1) have an strand of business focusing on selling the core measurement technology to pharmaceutical/diagnostic companies to be given away to the end-users; (2) or to established or proposed telemedicine and global health/patient monitoring platforms; (3) to develop a "kits” for niche markets such as athletes monitoring, veterinary, contamination monitoring, soil testing, etc.
