Cognition Medical is developing medical devices to improve the outcome of stroke interventions, which aim at re-opening brain vessels occluded with clot. Currently a significant part of the clot removal procedures fail to remove the blockade or create clot particles (emboli) susceptible to occlude and damage new territories in the brain. Our platform technology provides solutions to the shortcomings of current stroke devices and is applicable to other interventional procedures.
