Cognition Med was founded by two physicians practicing in rural America who were having difficulty communicating with their colleagues efficiently and in real-time, despite advances in technology.
Working with a friend in San Jose, they developed Coltrain, a mobile, patient-centered, clinical collaboration tool that gives providers value for their cognition, tracking basic metrics critical to how providers work and think. Since day one, Coltrain is making a difference in the lives of countless patients, improving care delivery in the two underserved regions where the product is testing. Cognition Med is building a foundation for health IT centered on providers and patients, optimizing technology processes and embedding innovative tools relevant to modern medicine.
