Hallucinations and Misleading Information: ChatGPT is pulling their responses from general internet knowledge. Chat does not know the teacher's exact course, topic, task, teacher, and teacher's teaching style, therefore misleading students with responses based on unknown objectives- not their teachers. (Not to mention the hallucination rates.) This can lead to lower grades, a worse understanding of the topic, lower confidence, and many more issues.
