Claire de Rouen Books careers
Claire de Rouen Books opened in 2005 with a launch party for a new book by Bruce Weber. Specialising in photography and fashion, under Claire's direction it became known for its internationally-sourced stock of limited edition, signed, and hot-off-the-press books and magazines, with a strong focus on micropublishing and scarce paper treasures. Lily bought the store with Lucy Moore in 2012, and they were both keen to continue in the same spirit. Having trained as an artist, Moore initiated a programme of artist projects as well as reading groups, lectures and film screenings. In June 2014 Claire De Rouen hosted the first Rare Book fair at the ICA, called Room and Book, it brought rare book dealers from around the world. Claire de Rouen Books now supports specific publishers, such as Four Corners Books, and will launch a new artist book section this Autumn.
