We’re beginning with a community currency in Oakland where residents can spend an OAK-branded stablecoin with local merchants. This currency will provide a foundation and serve as an “operating system” for the web3-enabled city and local economy. We’ve spent the last 3 quarters creating a scalable, low CAC, no code go-to-market engine for helping residents create web3 wallets and engage with local loyalty programs and cultural events. We’re now ready to build on this base to improve our technical offering.
