CineTrail is a cultural tourism startup that connects film fans and travellers with the real-world locations behind their favourite movies and TV shows. Our app turns filming sites into curated trails, blending storytelling, travel, and heritage. In just two months we have grown to over 3,000 users and built a TikTok community of more than 105,000 film enthusiasts. The response has shown that there is real demand for a product that combines film culture and travel in a simple, engaging way. I am now looking for a technical co-founder to join me in building CineTrail into a global platform. This is an equity-based role, ideal for someone with experience in app development who wants to take on the challenge of shaping a company at an early stage. You would be responsible for leading the technical side of the business, improving and scaling the app, and working closely with me to define the roadmap and future vision. The right person will have experience with mobile development, ideally in React Native, Flutter, or similar frameworks, and be comfortable taking ownership of technical decisions. Previous experience in startups or building location-based apps would be valuable but is not required. Most important is a commitment to building a product with cultural impact and a willingness to grow as part of a founding team. This opportunity is fully remote and flexible, although being UK-based is a plus. As co-founder, you would receive 10–15% equity with a standard vesting structure, along with the potential for salary once revenue or funding is secured.
