CineTrail careers
CineTrail started with a simple idea: films are more than stories on a screen; they are rooted in real places that people can visit, experience, and connect with. I wanted to make it easier for film fans and travellers to discover those locations and turn them into part of their journeys.
The CineTrail app brings this to life by mapping filming locations and turning them into curated walking trails. In just two months since launch, more than 3,000 people have signed up to explore with us. Alongside that, I’ve grown a TikTok community of over 105,000 film enthusiasts, many of whom have already asked when they can try the app for themselves. That early response shows there is real demand for a way to bring cinema and travel together.
Right now, CineTrail has more than 1,000 filming locations mapped across the UK and Europe. From small villages made famous by cult comedies to dramatic city backdrops from thrillers, every trail gives people the chance to experience films in a new way. Just as importantly, it supports the cafés, pubs, hotels, and local attractions around those sites. I believe film tourism can be a force for good — drawing visitors to places that aren’t always in the spotlight and giving communities another reason to celebrate their heritage.
Looking ahead, my vision is to make CineTrail the go-to app for film tourism worldwide. We’re building new trails, exploring partnerships with tourism boards and film festivals, and improving the app to make it more engaging and rewarding for users.
At its heart, CineTrail is about connection. It connects people with the stories they love, with the real-world places behind those stories, and with communities that benefit when culture and tourism come together.
