ChroniFI simplifies personal finance by presenting information in terms of time instead of money. We help users track their expenses holistically and visualize their data. One-off expenses are spread out over their useful lives to ensure that the signal is extracted from the noise of month-to-month variations in spending. Users input their long-term goals for their ideal lives, and make better spending and employment decisions to achieve these goals. For example, users can enter data about their current employment and their desired future employment, and then calculate how long it will be until they can afford to switch jobs. Users can also calculate how much their habits are delaying their retirement (“this coffee habit is delaying my retirement by 6 months”), and then make their own informed decisions about whether those expenses are “worth it.” The mission of the company is to reallocate human capital to its highest and best use by giving people the clarity and confidence to move on to the next stage of their lives earlier than they otherwise would.
