Most "note-taking" apps are more like post-it-note apps, built to help users collect checklists, recipes, web clippings, etc.

Chisel differentiates itself by catering to users in a class, lecture, meeting, or conference setting. In these settings, users need the ability to type, draw, and annotate on documents (e.g. presentation slides) while still maintaining structure and speed of note-taking.
