To date, there is no objective, accurate and portable diagnostic tool to assess brain function and facilitate decision-making in the diagnosis and treatment of neurologic and neuropsychiatric conditions. As the captain of my college lacrosse team, dad of two young athletes, and former neuroscience biomarker researcher at a big pharma, I see brain injuries everywhere. This is why we launched Cerora 2 years ago, as a healthcare IT company moving concussion diagnosis from a subjective clinical impression to an objective biosensor based assessment out in the field. We are filling this diagnostic gap with an innovative “neuro-diagnostics as a service” IT infrastructure and our multi-modal MindReader™ assessment platform. We are simplifying the system so that athletic trainers, physical therapists, nurses and medics can acquire the data at the point of care and allow the data to be remotely interpreted by a physician. We've also integrated into Google Glass for GlassBrain health assessment.
