Central Research Laboratory careers

The Central Research Laboratory, based at the iconic Old Vinyl Factory in Hayes, is London’s new home for hardware start-ups and a Creative Coworking Community. We have an amazing heritage of invention, where the original CRL invented the likes of CAT scan and stereo sound.

Our Hardware Accelerator and Coworking facilities, support product focused startup teams at every stage of their entrepreneurial journey – from industrial design to user research, raising investment and manufacturing operations. Our prototyping workshop, mentoring programme, shared workspace and in-house expertise are tailored to the needs of our hardware entrepreneurs.

We are now home to more than 20 exciting Hardware based startups!
