We have discovered and refined a small molecule that drives regenerative responses in cartilage. We have defined the mechanism of action of our molecule and are ready to proceed into IND-enabling pre-clinical studies. The pathway through which the drug acts is important in a variety of other tissues, opening up possibilities of wide-ranging applications and formulations in basic research and several diseases of the skin, heart, gut and kidneys. We have identified several early stage partnering opportunities to generate revenue and provide ROI independent of therapeutic development goals.
