Carmah has introduced a platform for true ridesharing to organize and bring efficiency to daily commuting. The pilot was profoundly instructive. Carmah is now integrating the lessons learned into a revised offering for commercial launch.

People commute the same way they did 50 years ago: they travel on their own, ignoring the ever-present flow of people traveling the same route. Technology has transformed one industry after another through efficiency, communication and organization. These tools have not yet been applied to daily commuting--a $700B market that is ripe with inefficiency. Smart Commuting, where people will share rides with others who are traveling in the same direction is inevitable.
