Finance Manager About CareerTu CareerTu is an online school for digital marketing, data analytics and UX/UI. We are looking to hire a Finance Manager to our growing team in New York City! This individual will join an innovate and driven team that will offer career progression and new and exciting challenges daily. CareerTu is funded by Y Combinator (YC), a well-known Silicon Valley startup accelerator with an alumni network of 1500+ top tech companies like Airbnb, Dropbox, Reddit, Zenefits etc. Responsibilities** Prepare financial statements, weekly reports, financial dashboards and margin analysis Develop and manage financial and pricing modelsGrowth, cost projections and profitability reports Collaborate on long-term growth plans and headcount forecast Partner with outsourced finance firms and consultants on finance and tax function Plan for migrating the finance function in-house for 2020Review monthly accounting transactions for accuracy Research for ERP system conversionsWork with CFO to build a finance team as needed and train/develop department staff Work with CEO on investor relationships HR functions including on-boarding, expense reporting and creating a handbook The Successful Applicant** Bachelor's Degree required, CPA/MBA/CFA preferred. Education Start-up experience is a plus. Quickbooks and ERP experienceFrugality. Accomplish more with less. Constraints breed resourcefulness, self-sufficiency, and invention.
