A shift, intended to migrate care out of hospitals and into the home is well underway all around the world. The type of services available to people, in their home, is growing. This is fuelled by a consumer-centric approach to care and a drive to reduce costs. The problem is, finding the right agency that can provide meals, to a home, or a nurse to dress a wound, is hard. Who is available to provide respite care or friendly visiting? Is there a day program nearby, and if so, when is it available? Can I book myself or my patient into the program? We have spent thousands of hours studying this problem across hundreds of home care and community service organizations. Caredove is the fruit of our efforts, built to make it easy to connect with home care and community services. We are in 5 provinces of Canada and spreading, connecting over one million people to care, from newborns to seniors.
