Our coating is an entirely natural solution, made of 99% water and 1% silk fibroin, which can be sprayed directly on crops in an ultra thin film.


Our coating produces a film that is invisible, flavourless, edible and natural. That film reduces cell respiration and water evaporation, which can drastically slow ripening and spoiling of produce.


Our coating technology was tested extensively on banana and strawberries. The results were published in the Nature-Scientific Journal, displaying the significant capabilities our solution has to extend shelf life.
