We are seeking a talented and experienced Head of Community to lead our community-building efforts in Los Angeles and Southern California, engage with our diverse user base, and foster a vibrant and supportive community around our platform.
As the Head of Community, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and nurturing our community, building meaningful relationships with creators, our enterprise partners and users, our stakeholders, and driving engagement and advocacy for our platform. This role is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of the creator economy, working closely with our team to create a vibrant and inclusive community that supports the success of our users.
Responsibilities:
Community Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive community strategy that aligns with our business goals and values, driving engagement, loyalty, and advocacy among our users.
Community Building: Build and grow our community by fostering meaningful connections, organizing events, and facilitating discussions both online and offline.
User Engagement: Engage with our users across various channels, including social media, forums, and events, to gather feedback, address concerns, and provide support.
Content Creation: Create compelling content, including blog posts, newsletters, and social media posts, to educate, inspire, and engage our community members.
Advocacy and Ambassador Programs: Identify and recruit passionate advocates and ambassadors within our community to promote our platform, drive user acquisition, and provide valuable feedback.
Community Moderation: Moderate community discussions, enforce community guidelines, and resolve conflicts or disputes in a fair and respectful manner.
Analytics and Insights: Monitor and analyze community engagement metrics, user feedback, and market trends to continuously improve our community initiatives and strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and support, to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging and initiatives.
Partnerships and Alliances: Identify and foster partnerships with relevant organizations, influencers, and industry leaders to expand our reach and enhance our community offerings.
Thought Leadership: Position Bump as a thought leader in the creator economy space by participating in industry events, speaking engagements, and writing articles or whitepapers.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
Proven experience in community management, social media management, or related roles, ideally within fintech, technology, or the creator economy.
Deep understanding of online community dynamics, engagement strategies, and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with and inspire diverse audiences.
Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to drive initiatives from conception to execution.
Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and insights to inform decision-making and measure impact.
Passion for the creator economy, entrepreneurship, and empowering individuals to succeed in the digital age.
Creative thinker with a proactive and entrepreneurial spirit, able to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
