NavVis was founded in 2013 to bridge the gap between outdoor and indoor digital maps. As a spin-off of the Technical University of Munich, our computer vision based indoor positioning technology is based on years of academic research.

Today, we continue to push the frontiers of reality capture & digital-twin building. Our revolutionary digital twin platform (Hardware & Software) is being used by the world’s leading automotive, construction, real estate and insurance companies. Furthermore, we have a unique value prop for Laser Scanning Professional companies with our dynamic wearable mapping device (VLX) + our SW platform IndoorViewer for visual walk-thrus of mapped spaces + point cloud creation. We now have over 100 partners in more than 30 countries worldwide deploying our technology.

NavVis is headquartered in Munich and has offices in New York and Shanghai, currently employing over 200 people across the globe.
