The Role

Deadstock is a global platform for the greatest products from the past, present, and future. Founded in 2020, Deadstock already has a growing loyal fan base where it has built a trusted sneaker community which is changing how the sneaker marketplace is run in the world.

As a Business Development Associate, you’ll be responsible for developing strategies to boost the company's sales and overall growth. You will be conducting research and analysis to identify client needs, and participate in creating business plans and products.

This role is ideal for someone who is sales-minded and looking to develop skills for a career in sales, marketing, or account management. As a Business Development Associate, your primary focus will be boosting company growth and developing customer relationships via outbound calling, email, and in-person meetings.

Responsibilities:

  • Willing to familiarize yourself with the company's vision and mission, seeking to accomplish set goals and objectives.
  • Conducting market research and identifying potential clients.
  • Cultivating strong relationships with new clients, while maintaining existing client relationships.
  • Collating and maintaining client information in the CRM database.
  • Working closely with staff across departments to implement growth strategies.
  • Developing and implementing sales strategies, client service and retention plans, and analyzing sales data to inform or update marketing strategies.
  • Assist with drafting business plans, sales pitches, presentations, reference material, and other documents as required.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
  • Identify new business opportunities and partners.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, staff, and clients.
